[ Updated ] Reaver - Epic Marksman

Character Name:

Markus 'Reaver' Ajaxius. [ I am well aware that I use names that are similar to my other characters. ]

Character History:

Markus 'Reaver' Ajaxius was once a native boy to the lands of Elywnn, long ago. He grew into a family of stubborn farmers and hunters, somewhere south of Goldshire. As in, their home is no doubt gone now. Markus spent most of his time out in the wilds, hunting boar and bear with his brother, Molgarus. They hunted with their father's Blunderbusses, but Markus was always a far margain greater than Molgarus at shooting. It would be Markus' job to fire into the animal's head, and Molgarus' to fire into the animal's leg or body, to prevent escape. Time went on, and before long Markus, and his brother were the age of 18.

The Defias had swept into Elywnn, and the crime rate rose high. Before long, the Defias had driven the Ajaxius family off of their land, and burned down their farm. The family sat in awe at their burning legacy, and it drove his father mad, who, ended up rushing into a Defias camp like a madman, and getting torn apart by nearly 20 Defias thugs. Markus kept close to Molgarus for afew years, before Molgarus moved away from him to Stormwind, to care for their younger brother, Kharaxus. From here, Markus was left alone in the wilds, with only his rifle as his companion.

Markus rose himself, hunting and trapping where needed. It was not long before Markus began to master the art of marksmanship. He went -all- around the lands of the Human Kingdoms, until he eventually stumbled upon Hillsbrad, and Tirisfal. He remained around Tirisfal, and hunted the wild wolves, which was his favorite trophy. And soon enough, the plague broke out, and surrounded everything Markus once knew. [ Going to cut this short. ] Markus fell to the plague, and became a shred of the man he once was.

In his new state, Markus was a monster. Risen amongst the dead, he still held all of his marksmanship to himself, and now roamed the world, killing any who he felt did not deserve life, as a symbol of what he went through. He dubbed the name, "Reaver", and now goes about the world freely, doing what he must.

Character Personality:

Reaver is a very quiet person, but he enjoys conversation. He will talk for a long time, and seem friendly, trying to be as close to Human as he can. At times, he can be abit cold, but he will always blame himself. If someone were to tick him off, he will take no time to hesitate, and scale the best building he can find, and wait. Due to his undeath, he can sit amongst roofs for long periods of time, due to the fact that he requires no rest nor food. When the time is right, he will fire, and hopefully hit his target. You will enjoy being on Reaver's good side, more than his bad.

Knowledge of Epic Marksman:

An Epic Marksman is a sharpshooter who can, and here I quote;
"Fire and hit the stem of an apple at 3000 paces away."
"Perform precision surgery from a distance."

An Epic Marksman is a person who is well-trained and practiced in the arts of firearms, including anything from handguns to rifles. They are able to reload rifles with lightning speeds, and fire them to nearly a pinpoint. An Epic Marksman will rarely miss, and if they do, it is normally their own fault. Possibly a failure to read wind speeds, or calculate the distance of their shot. Epic Marksmen are known as a very dangerous foe, due to the fact they can fire upon you from such a far distance. Some Epic Marksman may be involved in military factions, gangs, or even has hired/contracted killers/eliminators.

The Epic Marksman is no assassin, for he lacks the ability to fight in close combat, or melee. He must train himself to escape said melee encounters, relying on speed and agility rather than strength and endurance. The Epic Marksman can only take so much punishment, so they must be sure they can escape after their shot is taken, if the siuation demands so. The Epic Marksman holds no magical properties, they are simply gifted in the art of firearms.

What can and can’t an Epic Marksman do?

- Can fire upon foes from far distances, and rarely miss.
- Can move quickly and run for long distances, to escape danger.
- Can scale buildings and cliffs, to access points that are key to shots.

- Cannot fight well in melee encounters.
- Cannot wield any form of magic.
- Cannot take much punishment/damage.

Why should you be allowed to play an Epic Marksman?

I should be allowed to play an Epic Marksman, because I will no doubt become dedicated to it. I have many 'irregular' characters, and I have more than enough time to play them all. I would end up putting -lots- of time into this character, because in truth, I had no idea this existed in WoW. I have always been obssessed with Snipers, or Marksmen. Any game I've played, I'm always the Sniper, just something I enjoy doing. On a side note, I also hunt in real life, so I know my facts about firing guns from long distances. [ Corrialis effect, wind, humidity, the works. ]

Will you God-mod/Metagame with any of the powers an Epic Marksman grants you?

Absolutely not, I will make positively sure to include -all- of my shots are attempted.

Do you understand that any GM/Admin, at any time, has the right to revoke your privilages as a Epic Marksman, or any other Prestige Class?

Indeed, if they must be removed, so be it, I can handle it.

What is your rank within this prestige class? (Only Apprentice and Intermediate. Masters must have special permission from Vendryas himself.)
