| I found this on Blogspot and I had to add it. Props to neptuniablog, I couldn't find her name. You can find it on http://neptuniablog.blogspot.com/2008/12/blood-elf-age-and-date-of-birth.html, but I'll post SOME important parts here. - Quote :
- The rule of thumb to compare Blood (High) Elf ages to the corresponding human age is by dividing it by 5. For example, if a Blood Elf is 125 years old, he is physically equivalent to approximately a 25 year old human. An 'adult' character should be approximately 95 years old (which is approximately 19 human years) and that would be the minimum age you could choose based on how the characters look when you create them ingame.
- Quote :
- To chose your character's age, first think of how you want it to look like physically.
Example: if your want your character to look like an young adult, like a 19 year old. Multiply it 5, so 19x5=95. Your character would look like a 19 year old, and he would be 95 years old as an elf. We chose that only based on the physical appearance because the mind is too diferent froma human, because they live more, which is explained below. - Quote :
- The night elf is basically the same, only multiply a human age by ~20, and you get the biological equivalent Kaldorei age.

Reag, the Night Elves I believe now have the same age-style of High Elves and Blood Elves (And Fel Elves). With Immortality, they could be countless milenias years old, but since Nordrassil fell, their age now continues to grow, I presume, like the other Elves of Azeroth. Edit: Awch, then for my Blood elf only 3 years have passed in age?

| no. ...... I THINK its been somewhere along the lines of 25 years. cause i think it was 5 years between WC3 to WoW another 5 between WoW and TBC and then 15 years between TBC and WotLK.
and the reason i bring up WC3 into this is because, we all should know, that at the End of WC3 the world tree fell to Archimonde, inadvertently, but still, my point remains

I am unsure, but I believe about 9 years have passes between WoW > TBC, or about 17. None are sure, but WOTLK Is quite certain of 15 years to 17 years.

| good gods, that measn its far more than that and yes, hypothetically speaking, Night Elves -SHOULD- be aging at the same age as BEs and HEs althought HEs shouldn't even exist, most if not all were decimated to the point of oblivion when Arthas attacked thier homelands heh | |

Edit: Awch, then for my Blood elf only 3 years have passed in age? This, isn't true. The magic of Nordrassil is slowly fading, and Nordrassil is regrowing, it's unclear whether or not it will naturally regain it's powers over time, but it's effects are not gone. Just in the process of becoming so.

Again, inaccurate. There are roughly 4,000 HElfs left.

| Time to step in! Timeline; UnofficialYeah, it's not the oficcial Blizzard one, but Blizzard killed lore, and they screwed timeline, this is taken from all resources and compiled, including books, earlier games, anything. Age; All racesWelp, A 110 year old High elf would be about an 18 year old human, Night elves 'mature' at 300, so you have -two- options, you can be a newer night elf who never had immortality, because when they still had it, at 300 they stopped aging, so you can be a newer night elf at 300 +, or an older one, atleast 10,000 years old. | |
