PostSubject: Reggy (And other characters)   Reggy (And other characters) I_icon_minitimeWed Apr 08, 2009 6:51 pm

Character Full Name: Reggy

Character In-Game Name: Reggy

Nickname(s): Reg

Association(s): Stormwind, Church of the Holy Light

Race: Human

Class: Paladin

Age: 38

Sex: Male

Hair: Black

Eyes: Blue

Weight: 230

Height: 6'0

Usual Garments/Armor: Mail and somtimes plate. He tries to show off how he can wear metal suits.

Other: --

Brief Physical Description: Reggy is built, muscular-wise, but he's also a little chubby.

Personality: Sharp, witty, intelligent and charming are not words to describe Reggy. Sometimes he's just stupid, acting irrational or saying things he just shouldn't at the wrong time to the wrong people. He doesn't really filter his thoughts either, making him speak his mind-- not over arrogance, but just because he wants to get his thought out there. Whenever he tells a lie, a certain guilt overrides him and he immediatly apologizes and tries to tell the truth. He tries to live up to strict codes of the Light, but sometimes he ends up being too loud, too curious or too irritating. It is a definate trait that Reggy talks too loudly, especially in the Cathedral-- but he's always eager to hear what other people have to say about the Light, particulary if it's good, and he always tries to tell people to go visit the Cathedral.

History: Reggy was once a part of an unimportant town-- born, raised as a farmhand with a meager education, which was glittered with the Light. Infact, almost everyday he'd have to read advanced books on the Light. Since the literary level of the books were over his own, he barely understood the text. None-the-less, this didn't stop Reggy wanting to know more about the Light.

Reggy was soon trained how to use a hammer on the forge, but he quickly abandoned it after reading about how the Knights of the Light use it against undeads. He had a nice skill of the hammer, and his priest saw his affection to the Light: The only appropriate measure here, thought by the Priest, is that he could help protect the homeland from the Scourge by becoming a Paladin. Soon, he met his teacher at an early age and began to teach him how to be a Holy Knight. With time and thankful skills in teaching methods, Reggy was ready for the Scourge, although he still trains with his teacher when he can. Now he walks in Stormwind, daring to face any hardships his people or his religion must take.

I think I'll start playing this character. I'll put down my BLOOD ELF as well, later.

Player: SourPuddle

Character Full Name: Minythe

Character In-Game Name: Minythe

Nickname(s): Miny

Association(s): The Forsaken

Race: Undead

Class: Rogue

Age: 30 When deceased

Sex: Male

Hair: Brown

Eyes: Ghostlights, yellow

Weight: 190 lb

Height: 5'9"

Usual Garments/Armor: Shoddy leathers

Other: --

Brief Physical Description: Bones bear, skin tattered

Personality: Minythe is not an insane, brutal, mindless straight-forward killing machine of the Forsaken, nor is he an animated embodiment of peace. Minythe is usually seen as confused, and his intellectual level is bordering a murlocs. He usually conducts mixtures as 'fruit juices', which are really just different liquids in the same canister, hoping to make one to 'boost the moral of the Undead'. As soon as he tried to taste something, he assumed that everything in the world has lost taste ever since he gained free will.

Minythe will also go around trying to continue his former job as a rogue and 'spy'. He'll end up trying to follow people as his 'eavesdrop targets', and he'll fall to the ground, pretending to sleep; although, obviously, Undead do not sleep. He would even remind the person that he is sleeping with his own words, 'Hey, quiet down, can't you see I'm sleeping?', whenever he feels like the person is knows he's following them.

Although Minythe lacks mental skills, his fighting skills would match any rogues, but he would often get confused, attacking tree's and rocks while yelling 'For the Dark Lady!'.

History: Minythe, alive, was a potentially excellent killer in the shadows. Though, when he was a child, he had a bit of trouble with the law; he had served several terms in prison on small charges, such as theft. In jail, he learned a few things from the right people. Suprisingly, he was happy to learn and quickly became an apprentice under some very successful masterminds. Soon, with a few friends, he tried to make his own sort of 'looters club'. The idea was to try to steal from towns that were already destroyed by Orcs. His mentor looked down on the idea and he quickly abandoned it, feeling like it'd be bad to displease his superior. Slowly, he learned the ropes to becoming a Rogue; and a successful one at that.

In time, while he was still young, yet at the age of maturity, he met a young woman and soon fell in love with her. At first, she offered to train him studies of the alchemy. She was an apprentice as well, aiming to be a master alchemist; she didn't seem to mind teaching others about mixing potions and the such. Minythe abruptly accepted the offer, particularly to be with her rather then to learn about potions; but he was soon engulfed in the arts of mixing and potion-making. His master tried to convince Minythe to create poisons with his new-found skill, though his teacher of alchemy loathed such a practice and poured anything that came off as toxic. With this, he tried to adjust his charisma and take a chance at asking for acceptance for his love with her; she declined and left him as a teacher.

With growing sadness because of the rejection of his love, he soon started to vent his anger into battle plans, into fighting. Growing older, he knew there was no need for love, that he had much, much better ideas in store. He was going to be an assassin; the ender of lives, the soldier of the shadows, the one who would hold the knife in the targets back. For years, he examined many books and trained on several fake targets imagining how the person would cringe when you stab them here, and how much blood would spill if you stabbed them there. Once he was ready for his first target, he set his gear and got ready for his first killing in his whole life. The Rogue wanted to be as prepared as he could; he packed all of his gear and potentially dangerous poisons, all labeled with his name incase he lost them. He headed far south from his homeland and went far enough to where he couldn't remember his way back. Quickly and more so unpatiently he rushed to the first town he saw; when he noticed it was abandoned, he suddenly remembered of his young dream of looting that was denied as a child. He began to loot everything; amazingly, nothing was stolen. As soon as he ran back outside he gasped, and turned pale; a horde of corpses that were already rushing at him, quickly killing the wannabe-asssassin.

Before he knew it, a Necromancer threw him into his meat wagon and he was soon raised as a Scourge. His possessions were still latched to his belt, and after successfully being stuck in the back of crowds, he never got demolished as a minion of the Scourge. When the Scourge gained free will, Minythe quickly followed Sylvanas as his new master. He was now dedicating himself to the Dark Lady in the name of the Forsaken. In little time, he was in search for a name; a way to identify himself. The closest resource available was the labeled poisons, and he quickly took the name. Being dead, his brain rotted severely after some leakage occured, unfortunately diminishing much of his memory, social skills along with most of his self-trained 'assassin training.' He began to go around, trying to produce some kind of juice to 'increase moral' and 'taste good', but he claims that everything had lost it's taste, so he must find materials that did not. He also tries to 'spy' and 'assassinate' for his Dark Lady, but it usually just ends up with him running away yelling 'I win!'. Now, he trolls in the Undercity, waiting for 'orders' told to him by 'the Dark Lady that speaks to him personally, through his mind'.

Character Full Name: Lethice

Character In-Game Name: Lethice

Nickname(s): Leth

Association(s): Silvermoon, The Horde

Race: Blood Elf

Class: Priest

Age: 107

Sex: Female

Hair: Black, but dyed white.

Eyes: Green

Weight: 115 lb

Height: 5'6

Usual Garments/Armor: Robes, dresses, but generally peasant-like clothing. She tries to borrow more elegant clothings on special occasions, but it's rather rare. Most of her robes are cut in the front, because she used to trip over them.

Other: --

Brief Physical Description: Skinny, bones are revealed through her skin; malnourished.

Personality: Lethice is a generally kind person. She believes deeply in the Light and means well to other people of her race. When it comes to people who are of other races, she tends to be a little more quiet because she doesn't want to act rude when there is scarce reason to be polite. Though, when Humans (Or any Alliance race) are present she is generally reclusive, but tries to avoid communicating with them. She wouldn't fight one, because she feels like she would just get hurt; if anything, she would run if engaged in combat. On another note, she means well, but she does occasionally snort when she laughs, and if her skirt/robe isn't cut in the front then she has a chance of falling; otherwise, she's only as clumsy as anyone else. When she isn't taking care of people, she usually is trying to take care of the cats that wander Silvermoon.

History: Lethice was born in a family who used the Light as a primary root in her education. Before she knew it, she was already digging into books all about the Light. As a High Elf, she took great pride in her people and grew a healthy, social personality with her peers. She wasn't the most popular, or the brightest, or the most intelligent. Infact, she often day dreamed a few times when she was supposed to finish a book. But in the end, she came out average and generally a normal person.

In a point in time, while Lethice was young, she often read the same book several times. When her parents asked why, she responded that the books might be lonely if they stayed on the shelf too long. At first, since the juvinile behavior could be seen as quite common, her parents let her believe what she was doing was right. This made Lethice rather caring for things, even inanimate objects. When her parents finally explained to her that the objects had no feelings, it took some time to adjust. Her care for her own people and cats never changed, though.

Her father agreed to follow Kael'thas, though her mother did not and decided to stay behind. Lethice was starved of magic energies, but she seemed to pull through, but her mother, who stayed behind, was rather unfortunate and became of the Wretched. Lethice followed her father to Silvermoon and even after some individual searching, they came to the conclusion that she was gone. After mourning the passings of mother, she had a particularly hard time sucking fel, believing it was wrong since she had faith in the Light. Now, today she wanders Silvermoon with little goals except to heal soldiers when she can.

Player: Sourpuddle

Character Full Name: Etiana

Character In-Game Name: Etiana

Nickname(s): --

Association(s): Ebon Blade

Race: Human (Undead)

Class: Death Knight

Age: Died at 26

Sex: Female

Hair: Black

Eyes: Blue

Weight: 140 lb

Height: 5'3

Usual Garments/Armor: Plate armour of some sort. She might wear variations of mail and leather as she did before.

Other: --

Alignment: True Neutral

Personality: Etiana comes out more reclusive than scary or angered; though she tries not to completely isolate herself from society. She feels as if she ruined what they worked for while she was under command of the Lich King, believing there might be a chance to regain her status of a normal citizen. But even then, she had grown used to stealing, looting and ravaging -- accustomed to the life of the bandit. Though, above all, she tries her best to be loyal to the Ebon Blade.

Around civilization, she also might mummer some of her old songs she used to sing before she died, or thought about after she gained her free will. She rarely sings them at a high volume, disliking her new voice that haunts over her -- but at times, when she's (or appears to be) alone, she may bring her hallowed voice out just to remember how it was like before.

History: Etiana was born in a very small, uncharted human town. Even as the wars waged on they were fortunate to never receive attacks from the Scourge. But while Etiana was growing up, her parents knew that the world outside was dangerous and felt like they should train her to be a Mage. Though her parents had no idea how to use the Arcane magics, nor did anyone else in the small town, they thought about sending her to a much larger town. Her parents had little money, but they slowly saved up a measly gold and a half.

At that time, Etiana was already busy learning how to hold a sword from the town's over-zealous militia leader. He had very little experience other then simply swinging the sword, but he tried to expand his teachings since his pupil seemed interested. The girl had quickly used what she learned and implimented her own sense of skill-- but of course, she was only hitting straw bales. The leader considered her better then himself, but at her age she would do no good against any sort of trained soldier.

Years later, she became slightly honed in the skill of a bladesman, but still somewhat shoddy in her technique. Her parents, who were completely unaware of her skills with the sword, saved a small amount of three gold. Suprisingly, Etiana wasn't in a hurry to leave the small town just yet, unlike many of the other youths who quickly scurried off. No Orcs nor Scourge upsetted the town, and many of them were grateful for it. This was until human bandits- or more accuratly a band of common thieves and houselooters who made a try at the big time- attacked the small settlement without mercy. The group of bandits came to the town and demanded that everyone would give all their money, heirlooms and other valued items directly to the robbers. Etiana's parents didn't take any chances and quickly gave their money they saved away, and unfortunately Etiana didn't have the courage to fight the whole group of bandits. Though some villagers were slain, they spared Etiana's parents-- But then stated a policy that the Militia Leader and all his participants had to join them. When Etiana planned to lie to the rogues, the rest of the town, who saw her more as the key figure of 'Militia' more then the actual leader, all gave in and admitted Etiana as part of their defense. They took her in and she regrettably joined without resistance.

Long after they left her home village, the bandits resorted to more violent means in larger towns. They would slowly sneak in blacksmiths and other shops while they were unsupervised and stole small things, and if anyone caught them they would all throw random sand-like substances at the person -- like pepper or crushed rocks -- and flee away. Though, she only did this until she noticed other bandits training with weapons, and passed the word around about her minor skill. Etiana knew little about the sword, although she trained vigerously on it as a child, but she knew enough for one of the higher members recognition, and he quickly introduced her skills to the most skilled (with swords) in the group. The swordsman trained with her whenever they weren't raiding some small town, and her skills vastly enhanced, but soon a new skill arose and caught attention: her voice.

One day, Etiana was singing while getting prepared for the next days attack. The leader passed by and heard her sing indirectly, but quickly went to her, wide-eyed with a new plan emerging in his mischevious mind. The idea was to sing in a mildly populated street, where she would attract a large crowd -- and that's when the bandits would ravage the people of their goods and bolt. It worked out well a few times, but they soon resorted to smaller streets due to the guards interest in rooting out thieves.

After several days, most of the members left the orginization. They thought the whole idea was generally a bad one, but Etiana kept with the leader who had seen the departure of his members as an opportunity to get more things for himself. But the small band of criminals were down to abandoned roads with scarcely anyone passing. Fortunately, one day the leader looked down a road, suprised to see a large crowd of people coming down the street. The whole band hid in the bushes while Etiana began to sing. Something was different from the crowd of people, something completely different from the average citizen-- And that's when the whole crowd charged for the woman. The bandits bursted out of the bushes and assaulted the people when they noticed what was so eerie of the attackers-- It was how they were skin-rotting, mindless Scourge.

Quickly, the small group dispatched a few zombies, but they were easily overwhelmed. Plenty of scourge were flooding the stand while Etiana swung the sword with all her might and skill, slaying surplus amounts. She stuttered back with too many to count, and she could feel a ragged, dead hand slamming to the back of her head-- proving fatal. With her body strewn on the street, along with the other thieves torn and beaten, her own body had all but a few scrapes and a small head wound that you could barely see. Soon, her corspe got loaded into a meat wagon and she was brought to Acherus.

While the bodies were inspected, she, amongst the other bodies in adequate condition were raised and shapened to uphold the violent vigils of the Lich King, and she quickly became a Knight of the Scourge after passing through the trials. She was back to her old life in a new style, although it was plenty more violent. No longer did she loot households or bodys, even when valuables were present or if she thought there was a better sword. There were situations where she realised she wasn't a theiving girl any more -- she was a killer-- an enemy in those eyes who tried to defeat her, and a monster in the eyes of those who feared her. She relentlessly killed various people under the Lich Kings command until the day she'll never forget -- the day she unintentionally broke from the Lich Kings grasp and gained free will.

Character Full Name: Genitha

Character In-Game Name: Genitha

Nickname(s): Gen, Genny

Association(s): Blood Knights, Silvermoon

Race: Blood Elf

Class: Paladin

Age: 119

Sex: Female

Hair: Red

Eyes: Green

Weight: 140

Height: 5'7

Usual Garments/Armor: Since she became of her initiation, and even Knighthood she bore heavy armour. Though, in towns, she prefers lighter suits of chain, feeling that if she wore cloth, the heavier armour would feel like too much.

Other: She's a bit built, muscle wise, at her limbs; but primarily from running (Well, walking at a fast pace) in such big armour. Just moving in it could be a chore, but she got used to it.

Alignment: Neutral

Personality: Genitha holds a very self-driven attitude. She does what she wants, and tries to get whatever it is; though she doesn't act persistently. She doesn't seem to need support from others to motivate her, but she certainly does appreciate it. Sometimes, she'll use snarky comments, just plain unwanted and negative insights on a situation; but she wont (wholly) intentionally do so.

History: Genitha was born in Quel'thalas and grew to be taught the way of the Light. When she grew older she became a Priestess of the Light, but lacked overall potential. The Priestess believed in the Light, but acted mischievously when it came to her mentors. She never disobeyed them, but always acted as if the subject was boring. As for the war, she was generally dragged around in every turn the Blood Elves took as a whole. She enjoyed living, and the only way it seemed for that to be possible in doing that was to follow as a sheep. She would finally enter Silvermoon, inhabiting the torn city and trying to continue her beliefs in the Light.

Afterwards, she soon was to be slacking off her studies when she heard about the Blood Knights and quickly started to make her own physical improvement plan, thinking that she'd need to be physically fit in order to join. The training idea failed, but none-the-less, she drove herself into becoming a Blood Knight. It was something new to her -- instead of asking the Light, the Light asked her. It wasn't really a problem, because her shoddy techniques with the Light weren't ingrained in her mindset anyway.

But when she was first sent on a 'mission', she was forced to wear heavy armour. Feeling a bit arrogant, she told her superiors that she'd already trained for such a task; after all, she did have that little bit of training before becoming a Blood Knight. She disappointed her team when they went to battle; unable to move, she had slowly carried the armour across the battlefield, as useless as ever. Fortunately, the squad outnumbered their enemies, but they shunned Genitha, believing that she lied. They surprisingly left her in the field. She didn't want to leave the armour behind -- it wasn't even hers. Slowly and steadily she worked her way back to Silvermoon, finally arriving there several days later. This was a major point in learning how to hold such heavy armour, and it influenced her to continue practicing because, in her words "Hey, if I got this going, then I should just get it going all the way".

Several more events happened before she was reintroduced back to the old way of using the Light, such as getting married to a Mage and reinforcing her reputation with Blood Knights by participating in some small organizations. Her new husbands name was Setane, and seemed pretty high in power. When she was reintroduced back into the old way of using the Light, she considered focusing on improving her powers with it, but this didn't stop her from using heavy armour. Now she wanders around Silvermoon when she is not to be used in battle.
