Onime - Farseer

Character Name: Onime

Character History: Dating back to more then a few thousand years ago, a little after Velen's time, Onime was born. He was in his adolescents when his people had become turned. Onime moved with Velen's people, this including his family. Over a set period of time, the ship would be planted on the world of Draenor. His main fascination was with the race known as the Orcs, their Shamanistic ways. "May the spirits be with you." The heads of clans spoke, "The spirits shall guide you." some others spoke. Onime was an artisan Jewelry maker, and would make trinkets for trade. He traded them for herbalist and other natural necessities. Soon though, the great attempted Genocide was upon his people. Onime of course, was not a fighter, so he had fled with a random group of Draenei at the time, splitting from his family. He found himself at a lake, far away from his old civilization. Out there he sat for what seemed like decades, his body unknowingly becoming aware of Nature's touch on him.

Onime held great potential to become a Shaman, the blessings of the Orc Shaman still upon him. Voices, as he would describe them, from the wind they came. These took him to the refuge for the Draenei, Telredor. It took him a fine month to actually find his way through Zangarmarsh, but when he came upon the last refuge, he was welcomed. Onime spoke minor details on how he was led to this refuge. Around this time, a Broken by the name of Nobundo was accepted by Velen and taken into Telrendor. Here, he spoke of Shamanism, here was where Onime dedicated himself to it. With other Draenei, he took on the training Nobundo offered to them, to understand the elements and philosophy of the Spirits. Soon enough, they were ready, and Onime was among the Draenei who participated in the raid to take back The Exodar.

They would use it to escape Draenor, to a world which had no taint hopefully, a world which was not destroyed by Dark Portals, by fel-magic. Before they knew it, after blacking out for a few hours upon landing, Onime awoke. "Azeroth?" Here, he would find his new home and make his name known in such a short period of time. With a long set of training in the arts of Shamanism under his belt, he would set out.

Irony.

Character Personality: Onime feels at times, being a Shaman is quite hard. The power comes along with great responsibility for him, he must be bias, only allowing the Spirits to do the judging. His life is amazing, rich, and has gone through many changes as a Draenei. It is quite difficult, though his hatred for Orcs and Sin'dorei have been put at a rest as he must remain clear-minded for the Spirits' sake. During his Shamanistic training, he was told that the powers of Shamanism could not be abused to the user's ideals or else it would be taken away, therefor the result was Onime dropping his racial hatreds. Onime is a calm, down to earth kinda person, often showing little to no reaction from those who try to drive one out from him. This Draenei is a selfless being, shows no injustice or prejudice, unless he views a serving purpose within it. While among the attractive types within his race, he is quite redundant while speaking, he certainly has those lady-troubles; stuttering, clumsy, etc.

Knowledge of Farseer: Farseers in general, are the top of the Shaman class. These few are bound tightly with the Elements and communicate closely with the ancestral spirits. The most well-known Farseer is Thrall obviously, leader of the Horde.

What can and can’t a Farseer do? A Farseer has great strengths due to the spirits which empower him, though he/she must use it in the right way, the way the Spirits see fit. With water they are able to heal major wounds, with fire cause massive destruction, with earth give quakes, with wind create a typhoon. With the power of the Wild, comes the bulk of their strength, able to bring back a living entity from death. Farseers are also closely acquainted to the Spirit world (Said to be the Emerald Dream).

Why should you be allowed to play a Farseer? Throughout all my role-plays I maintain and equally fair role-play, if not better. I think having a Farseer, will help with many other people's role-plays, acting as a source of which to gain insight. Becoming a Farseer will, in conclusion, enhance/benefit not only my own, but many members of this communities' role-play.
