overall physical description +-- Delatharis is like almost any other blood elf. He has a slightly tall height, with burning fel-green eyes. His body is slim and athletic, but is mostly covered by his amber, burgundy, and crimson red robes. When in battle, he puts aside his red, long robe, and replaces it with a red Sin'dorei leather curiass.
likes``~ Fire magic, Nycite (secretly =P ), Silvermoon City, and his pet phoenix, Sath'ras.
dislikes``~ His corrupted, old-friend Kael'thas, the Alliance, the Scourge, and the Burning Legion.
strengths``~ Delatharis is one of the most powerful Blood Mages, able to summon great waves of flame in a snap. He can summon great, chaotic bolts of fire from his fingertips, and his skills from being a warmage are still used whenever battling the Alliance. He is also very resistant to corruption. His weapon, the Sunspear, can release it's burning energies, having the ability to singe an enemy to ashes.
weaknesses``~ Delatharis still has a burning hatred, and trusts very little of the Forsaken or the Horde. He is usually weak to a warrior's charge, which is why he recieved a wound while fighting in Wintergrasp. Also, Delatharis does not practice in many other magics besides those of fire and some demonic magics, only studying small amounts in the Arcane. Not really adept with these magics, he depends heavily on his gear to protect him from powerful frost and arcane magics.
habits/quirks``~ Delatharis usually spends time either on the front against the Scourge, against the Alliance, or studying and honing his burning skills. However, he can not always stay in one place, as Kael's soldiers attempt to hunt him down day and night. He is also known to have written 2 books on fire magic, and has been noted as a master in inscription.
fears``~ Delatharis has very little fears, but has them as everyone does. He fears of the Scourge invading and destroying Quel'thalas again, and of Kael's remnants of demons and felblood elves laying waste to his city. To attempt to avoid both, he has honed skills in destroying both of these threats, but knows he will need some more time to teach others before his city is truly safe.
dreams``~ Delatharis dreams of a day when Quel'thalas shall be one of the most powerful kingdoms on Azeroth, where the Sunwell has been cleansed of warlocks, demons, and felblood elves. He also dreams of when the Scourge are wiped from Azeroth.
goals``~ Delatharis's main goals are to bring down Arthas with his own spells, and to seek redemption for his corrupted prince friend, Kael'thas, by ending the demonic soldiers on the Sunwell Plateau.

overall personality description +-- Delatharis is a mainly quiet, distrustful person. He is one of the most brilliant minds of his people, and was one of the most brilliant in Dalaran before the Third War. Wise, he usually knows when to keep his mouth shut, when to speak, and when to silence those who speak out. He is extremely distrustful of the Forsaken, Ebon Blade, and other freed Scourge except for a few. He also despises felblood elves, thinking of their foolishness like the orcs. He usually dislikes the Alliance, especially most night elves and most humans. Although with a strong willpower and intellect, he is usually shy when it comes to love, and is hateful against those who are womanizers and thinking women have no right to do anything.

history +-- Delatharis was born 5 years after end of the First War, in a time of short peace and protection. As his father was a magister, he was taught from a young age about magic and its abilities. He spent his misused youth pursuing fire magics and even stealing. When the Second War broke out, he had already become an acomplished magi, although still young. When the trolls assaulted Quel'thalas and destroyed a good portion of the city, Delatharis slew many troll soldiers and witch doctors, his already powerful flame magics striking fear. The Alliance, seeing the young elf as strong, yet weak in terms of defense, accepted him in the war, thinking he would last only a couple weeks. However, the young Sunflame proved them wrong, burning his orcish, troll, dragon, and demon enemies with his strong skills in fire and arcane. After the war ended, he had already slew hundreds of orcs single handedly. Joining the now established city of Dalaran, he studied deeper into the fire and, at the time, arcane. He wrote a book on fire magics, and was kept as someone not to be messed with on both the Alliance and Horde. When Kael'thas came to Dalaran to study magic, Delatharis was still a young magister, only a small bit older than Kael. He helped Kael study in fire magics and basic arcane magics, and was also friends with Jaina Proudmoore. When the Third War broke out, Delatharis left Dalaran to see what he could do to strengthen Silvermoon. His brother, a older magi than his brother and more skilled in arcane then fire, had already been killed by the Scourge when Arthas took over Lordaeron and the surrounding towns. His hatred for the Scourge began with the killing of his brother, and, when leaving Dalaran, he left Kael and Jaina a single note that read, "To my fellow friends: Stay safe in this time of death and destruction, and recoil with the fury of the Sun and stars." When the Scourge finally ventured into Quel'thalas, Delatharis slew many Scourge before the broke the first gate, the necromancers calling him "The Living Fire", which he holds as a nickname to this day. Put as a guardian to the Sunwell, Delatharis fought hard to keep to the Scourge back, his warmage staff and spells turning the scourge armies to ashes. When the Second Gate had been destroyed, and his recently married wife had been killed, Delatharis burned many more of the wretched Scourge, but felt that the battles had all been a resistance, and were lost. When the Sunwell was corrupted and destroyed, it was Delatharis who gathered the survivors, making refugee camps and small, safer havens for his people. He was filled with the fury of a legion of elves, but knew that his weakened power would not allow him to fight. When Kael'thas returned from Quel'thalas, and renamed the high elf survivors as blood elves, it was Delatharis who he appointed as one of his commanders, ordered to lead warmages, magisters, and spellbreakers into battle. When the elves reached the lands once called Draenor, he decided to become like his friend, his blood mage skills soon becoming as powerful as Kael's, enhanced by his vast knowledge of fire magics and warmage abilities. When Kael swore his allegiance to Illidan, Delatharis watched as his advisor, knowing that they had no other choice. When Kael returned to Outland after the failed attempt to destroy the Frozen Throne, Delatharis detected something different with his friend, but stayed by his side, watching as the demons poured into the Eye, as protection and soldiers. When the Eye was destroyed, and the Prince moved his elves and demons to the Sunwell, Delatharis began to not trust, even despising his friend for aiding the creators of the Scourge. In his journal, he wrote, "I have seen what Kael has done to the once tranquil island of the Sunwell Plateau, and it pains my gut to see what he has alligned himself with." Finally, when he was able to confront his friend again, he became bitter with annoyance and hatred, seeing that his friends ever need and addiction to magic had turned him into a wretched like many elves in Quel'thalas. He argued with Kael, finally leaving his position as blood mage with Kael's army. Kael wouldn't let him go that easily, and had his elves create a barrier at the entrance to the Magister's Terrace, enhanced with demons. Delatharis knew that he would not escape easily, but had the help of other elves wanting to escape Kael. A furious battle ensued, the Magister's Phoenix aiding him in battle, whips of flame lashing out and bolts of chaotic energies coming from the demons. Delatharis, with his encouragement and magic prowess, escaped and defeated the attack outside the Terrace, escaping with his surviving men to the Shattered Sun Offensive's base. He traveled to Quel'thalas and joined the Blood Elves of the Horde. Soon learning of the war in Wintergrasp, he signed up and was promoted to Seargent for his prowess in magic. He defeated many of the Alliance and injuring many others, but was then wounded and knocked unconciouss by a dwarven warrior. He now continues to flee from demons hunting him down, and tries ally others in his crusade against Arthas and the demonic legions.
